Samsung Galaxy M40 features a glass-like polycarbonate body design that provides a premium feel. Like the S10, the phone comes with a punch-hole camera that is located on the top left corner of the phone. All this is in an effort to minimize distraction while viewing the screen.

Samsung Galaxy M40 display is a 6.30-inch Infinity O display (with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels), which is sure a distinctive feature for a budget phone. The screen has a screen-to-body of over 91 percent, which means that the phone is nearly bezel-less, and therefore provides more room for display.

The display is an FHD+-resolution TFT LCD screen that is covered by a Corning Gorilla Glass. The device mounts an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9.

Another important feature is the Widevine L1 certificate that enables you to watch full HD videos on Netflix or Amazon Prime.
